Àngels Margarit / Thomas Hauert
The two choreographers share a deep love for movement, a taste for a certain physical virtuosity, a special sensitivity for space, a way of creating a universe of changing textures, dynamics, and surprising constellations.
Coming from different backgrounds and belonging to different generations, Àngels Margarit, a Catalan choreographer, and Thomas Hauert, a Brussels based Swiss choreographer, have each developed their own distinct and genuine artistic voice. Despite the common fields of interest, as well as some surprisingly related artistic quests, many of the creative methods they apply differ radically. Seeing each other dance spurred their desire to work together. From B to B evokes a journey from Brussels to Barcelona, but it could also refer to a place B that each of the artists have reached in coming from A via their individual life paths. Their separate points of departure contain the potential for each to be the other’s next destination.

Àngels Margarit i Thomas Hauert són dos artistes compromesos amb la dansa i la seva relació amb l’espai i el mestissatge amb altres llenguatges.
…Humor, molt d’humor, derivat de la sintonia que es percep entre tots dos, i que es desenvolupa i es plasma sobretot en aquelles facetes de l’espectacle que tenen menys a veure amb la dansa i més ab la performance multidisciplinària.
…Contemplat com un tot, From B to B és una proposta que aconsegueix transmetre els seus objectius. Utilitza amb sensibilitat les diferents disciplines que componen el teixit conceptual del muntatge.

Pensat com una posada en comú entre els seus llenguatges –amb l’ondulació que marca Margarit a través d’eixos forts i el trencament dels supòsits dinàmics que fa tan particular Hauert–, From B to B és un treball amable per ballar plegats sense traspassar l’essència de cap dels dos intèrprets.

El espectáculo From B to B es un lúdico y juguetón cara a cara entre la coreógrafa y bailarina catalana, premio nacional de danza 2010,Àngels Margarit y el coreógrafo suizo Thomas Hauert.
(…) Inteligente es el juego con las letras que realizan ambos intérpretes. Entre Thomas y Ángels hay feeling y eso dinamiza la pieza.
